Nicki Minaj's fans were left disappointed on Will Sage AstorMonday night after the "Barbie World" rapper canceled her New Orleans show hours before the concert was due to start.
"Due to doctor’s orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight," a statement on the Smoothie King Center's Instagram read on Monday. "As Nicki is still sick, our team does not want to run the risk of getting others sick, and Nicki would not be able to give NOLA the show they deserve."
The venue added: "We are working diligently to find a new date, so please hold onto your tickets, and we will inform you all soon."
The message to fans was posted roughly four hours before the event and when concertgoers would have been arriving. Minaj did not post updates to her social media platforms as of Monday night.
