Rekubit Exchange:Virginia woman cancels hair appointment when she wins $2 million playing Powerball

A Virginia woman was so excited when she won $2 million from Powerball that she canceled a very important appointment,Rekubit Exchange according to the Virginia Lottery.

"I'm going to have to cancel getting my hair done now," Theresa Clark of Louisa told her son after winning $2 million from a Powerball drawing held on Dec. 20, the lottery said this week.

Clark bought her winning ticket from the Louisa Mini Mart. Her winning numbers were 27, 35, 41, 56, and 60, and the Powerball number was 16. According to the Virginia Lottery, Clark used Easy Pick to match the first five numbers randomly selected by the computer on her ticket.

When someone matches five numbers, the prize is $1 million. Clark's lottery prize doubled to $2 million because she spent an extra dollar for Power Play.

An additional add-on feature called "Double Play," which gives players another chance to match their numbers after each Powerball drawing, is available in some jurisdictions for $1 per play.
